"Boston's funkiest
organ trio"
WERS 88.9 FM
"dirty, deliciously gritty Southern funk"
WERS 88.9 FM
BARNSTORM
- 2000
BARNSTORM,
self-titled, first release of early millennium newcomers, Barnstorm.
Headed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Jeremy ‘Kane’
Lichter. Barnstorm explores the sounds of rock/blues/pop in
a masterful quartet setting. Excellently crafted songs and melodies
backed by soulful and heartfelt performances with unusual brilliant
arrangements. Recorded in just 3 days in a car garage in Los
Angeles, CA by recording veteran Gary Ladinsky (Eagles, Van
Morrison, Cheap Trick, Moody Blues) and Design FX Audio remote
recording facilities. Mastered by Joe Gastwirt at Oceanview
Digital.
Barnstorm’s quick success was followed by their quick
demise. After bushing arms in early 2000 with then unknown act
Maroon 5 in Santa Monica, CA and awaiting the release of their
self titled debut the band split up before touring to support
their record.
Produced By Gary Ladinsky and Barnstorm
Barnstorm:
Keith Hollis Ladinsky, keys, vocals
Jeremy ‘Kane’ Lichter, lead vocals, acoustic and
electric guitars
Sean ‘Cave’ Mannion, trap drums, percussion, vocals
Bren ‘Tapatio’ Plummer, acoustic and electric bass.
vocals

"[PO BOYZ] drawn-out, eclectic, instrumental approach to
their sound calls to mind the Godfather's of the jam band, The
Grateful Dead. However, to pigeonhole Po Boyz, even in a genre
as immensely broad as a jam band, would be a failure to appreciate
the vastness of their genre-spanning sound. A smidgeon of Latin
spice, a flood of country, a heaping helping of funk-Po Boyz
incorporate virtually every danceable, rock-outable genre of
music and embody what unadulterated rock n' roll ought to look
and sound like."
Ziggy Steiner - WERS 88.9 FM
PO BOYZ is three parts: Keith Hollis, Hammond B-3 Organ, vocals;
Sean Mannion, percussion, vocals; Andrew Wagley, guitar, vocals.
COUNTRY FRIED FUNK

funk grooves and bayou jams with nuances of country and gospel...
Formed in late 2004, with their debut on Frenchman Street in
New Orleans during the 2005 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival
PO BOYZ are on to something
... good and funky!
Since 2005 the PO BOYZ have a sold a ton of CDs and played some
sick shows including opening for New Orleans Meters legend George
Porter and Lousiana native Trombone Shorty at the 2007 Squaw
Valley Funk Festival.
Look for the PO BOYZ every Saturday night at their weekly residency
at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA.
